The Public Employment Service (DYPA) of Greece has published the provisional lists of beneficiaries, disqualified applicants, and eligible recipients for the 2025–2026 Social Tourism Programme.

This year’s programme includes 300,000 tourism cheques, with a total budget allocation of €50 million. The initiative aims to support low-income families, unemployed individuals, and other eligible citizens by subsidising domestic holiday accommodations.

Objection Process Now Open

Applicants who believe they have been incorrectly excluded or misclassified can submit a single objection today, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, between 08:00 and 23:59. Appeals must be submitted exclusively online via the Greek government portal: gov.gr. The navigation path is: Home > Employment and Insurance > Compensation and Benefits > Social Tourism Programs (STPs).

To file an appeal, applicants must clearly state the reason for the objection, referencing the grounds for rejection—such as incorrect classification or eligibility disputes. All claims must be supported by scanned documentation uploaded online. Even for information that public services can obtain automatically (e.g., income data), submission of relevant documents is mandatory.

Applicants are advised to consult the official Public Call for Proposals to ensure their documentation aligns with the eligibility and award criteria.

It is important to note that objections not submitted through the electronic system will not be reviewed.

This programme continues to play a vital role in promoting domestic tourism and providing much-needed support to Greek families during the summer season.
