The opening of Domes Aulūs Zante – formerly known as Zante Beach – has been announced by hotel management company Domes Resorts & Reserves and Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), Southern Europe’s largest owner of hotel units owned by Blackstone investment funds .
HIP has invested nearly €13.5 million to upgrade and transform the property, which is managed by Domes Resorts & Reserves under its innovative Domes Aulūs concept and will join the Autograph Collection Hotels family, in Marriott International’s dynamic portfolio of independent hotels .
The renovation included the reconstruction of the common areas and rooms in order to offer families and adventure-seeking couples the ideal holiday on the most enviable beach of Zakynthos.
The hotel has 150 rooms, 72 of which belong to the premium category, infinity pool, upgraded restaurants (buffet and a la carte), beach bar, lounge bar, pool bar, a food-truck as well as a new indoor and outdoor spa facility.
Domes Aulūs is located inside a Natura turtle sanctuary on the longest beach of Zakynthos just 5 km away from the city’s airport.
It extends over 230 acres of white sand beach, a lush pine forest, amidst the characteristic turquoise color of the Ionian Sea.
The renovation of Domes Aulūs Zante was supported by Alpha Bank which provided the financing to carry out the expenditure.
