His prestige on the world music scene is unquestionable with a series of international awards, including a Golden Globe. He is the singer who breaks every record with sold out concerts all over the world. During his dazzling career he has collaborated with a number of top artists including Franco Zeffirelli, Celine Dion, Elton John, Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran. Celine Dion has said of his voice: “If God sings, his voice must sound like Andrea Bocelli’s.”
In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, the “maestro” presented “Music for Hope” in the abandoned cathedral of Milan, one of the biggest live stream music performances of all time. Having watched his career in awe, the Sani Festival feels immensely honored to welcome an artist of this stature to a concert that will mark the Festival’s 30-year history!
