The head of the Athens Prosecutor’s Office, Aristeidis Koreas, has ordered a criminal investigation into social media posts that incite violence ahead of the demonstrations marking the two-year anniversary of the Tempi tragedy.
As part of the preliminary inquiry, the prosecutor has instructed the cybercrime division to track down the accounts responsible for these posts.
The investigation focuses on the offense of incitement to commit criminal acts.
It is important to note that GSEE and ADEDY have declared a nationwide 24-hour strike for Friday (February 28), with marches planned throughout the country to honor the victims of the Tempi disaster.
