Voridis, Chatzivasileiou,Stamenitis & Boukoros resign over OPEKEPE case – Prime Minister accepts resignations
General Secretary for Agricultural Development and Food Giorgos Stratakos has also submitted his resignation

Over the OPEKEPE case, the following have submitted their resignations from their ministerial duties: Minister of Migration and Asylum Makis Voridis, Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Chatzivasileiou, Deputy Minister for Rural Development Dionysis Stamenitis, and Deputy Minister for Digital Governance Christos Boukoros. Their resignations were accepted by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Additionally, Giorgos Stratakos, General Secretary for Agricultural Development and Food, also resigned from his position.

Statement by Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesman Pavlos Marinakis

It is announced that the Minister of Migration and Asylum, Makis Voridis, submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister, for the reasons stated in his letter, which is attached. The Prime Minister accepted his resignation.

At the same time, Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Chatzivasileiou, Deputy Minister for Agricultural Development and Food Dionysis Stamenitis, and Deputy Minister for Digital Governance Christos Boukoros also submitted their resignations, which were likewise accepted by the Prime Minister.

Finally, Giorgos Stratakos, General Secretary for Agricultural Development and Food, has also submitted his resignation.
