AADE Publishes 2025 List of Major Debtors Owing Over €150,000

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has released updated lists of individuals and legal entities with overdue debts exceeding €150,000 to the State and e-EFKA, which have been unpaid for over a year as of June 24, 2025. The lists include 11,616 natural persons and 18,762 legal entities.

Key Debtors:

• Legal Entities: The bankrupt “Acropolis Securities” tops the list with a debt exceeding €14.4 billion, followed by the former state-owned “Olympic Aviation” with €2.344 billion in debts.
• Individuals: Kosta Chris leads with €1.127 billion in overdue debts, followed by Apostolides Panay with €1.08 billion.

Debt Details:

• State Debts: Unsettled overdue installments due by June 24, 2024, including late payment surcharges up to June 24, 2025.
• e-EFKA Debts: Unsettled debts due by June 24, 2024, covering insurance periods up to April 2024.

Data Sources:

• State debts are sourced from TAXIS/EISPRAXIS and ICISnet systems.
• e-EFKA debts are sourced from the Insurance Debt Collection Center (KEAO) system.

Inclusion Criteria:

• Natural persons and legal entities with basic overdue debts exceeding €150,000, unpaid for over 12 months as of the data extraction date (June 24, 2025).

Transparency and Compliance: The lists are published under POL.1158/2017 and Law 3943/2011 (amended by Law 4410/2016) for transparency and public interest. Data accuracy depends on updates to TAXIS/EISPRAXIS/ICISnet and KEAO systems by tax authorities and e-EFKA directorates. Discrepancies, if any, will be addressed post-publication in accordance with Articles 6 and 7 of POL.1158/2017 and KEAO Circular 40/2017.
