According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), the raid followed intelligence suggesting that certain inmates were in possession of drugs and weapons. During the operation, cell searches were carried out.

Authorities seized a total of 16 grams of white and pink powder, a small quantity of what is believed to be processed cannabis (all substances to undergo laboratory analysis), two improvised knives, and one mobile phone.

A case file has been compiled and will be submitted to the competent prosecutorial authority.
