Greece to Battle Montenegro in Thessaloniki EuroBasket Warm-Up
EuroBasket 2025 is set to tip off on August 27, with Greece competing in Group C alongside Spain, Italy, Georgia, Bosnia, and Cyprus

Thessaloniki basketball fans will have the chance to see the Greek National Basketball Team in action on August 14, as they take on Montenegro in a friendly match. The game, part of Greece’s preparation for EuroBasket 2025, was confirmed by the Montenegrin Basketball Federation.

This will be the fourth friendly match for Coach Vassilis Spanoulis’ squad this summer, following games against Belgium, Cyprus, and Israel. After facing Montenegro, Greece will continue their preparation with matches against Latvia, Italy, and France according to greek city times

EuroBasket 2025 is set to tip off on August 27, with Greece competing in Group C alongside Spain, Italy, Georgia, Bosnia, and Cyprus. The group stage matches will take place in Limassol, Cyprus, while the knockout rounds will move to Riga, Latvia.
