“Greece 2.0”: Projects That Are Reshaping Public Health

Eurostat has long documented the challenges of the Greek healthcare system: 33.5% of total health expenditures come directly from citizens’ pockets – one of the highest rates in the EU – while 32.3% of citizens at risk of poverty avoided seeing a doctor due to cost. adonis wnaseio

The response from Adonis Georgiadis and the “Greece 2.0” initiative is clear: action and measurable results, not words. With a total budget of approximately €1.5 billion, the program supports 50 projects that are changing citizens’ everyday experience of healthcare. adonis georgiadis 1566
