An interministerial meeting was held on Friday at the Climate Crisis & Civil Protection Ministry, chaired by Minister Vassilis Kikilias, while more meetings are expected to be held over the weekend as updated meteorological data become available.
Mitsotakis held the meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
A statement by the PM's office said both leaders confirmed the positive climate in Greek-Turkish relations and the strong commitment to maintaining it.
Gerapetritis is in New York for the 78th UN General Assembly.
