Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides today in Nicosia, marking a significant step in bolstering bilateral relations. The leaders held official talks at the Presidential Palace, where Modi was warmly welcomed with a ceremonial reception, underscoring the mutual trust and friendship between the two nations.
The meeting was prompted by the joint postgraduate course that will be offered by the two universities on "Global Environmental Sciences and Public Health", with financing from the Recovery and Resilience Fund.
