Greece’s 2027 Budget Opens the Wallet: €500 Bonus, €1,000 Minimum Wage, Housing and Tax Cuts
The Greek government has unveiled an ambitious 2027 budget blueprint combining income support, tax relief and investment incentives: a €500 Christmas bonus for public-sector employees, a path toward a €1,000 minimum wage, a €2 billion “My Home III” housing program, a €400 annual payment for pensioners over 65 and major tax relief for farmers and families with three children. At the same time, Athens projects 2.3% growth, unemployment falling to 7.9% and public debt dropping sharply to 128.8% of GDP.
