According to public broadcaster ERT, the discussions centred on strengthening Greece’s air defence systems, with the armed forces remaining on high alert. The government has been closely monitoring the situation as fears grow over a wider regional confrontation.
The vote was carried out by secret ballot, with 154 lawmakers upholding the proposal submitted by governing New Democracy – which has 155 seats in the House.

Μέχρι σήμερα, το Ελληνικό Δημόσιο έχει ήδη αποπληρώσει ποσό 21,3 δισ. ευρώ, ενώ έχει προβεί και στην πλήρη αποπληρωμή των δανείων προς το ΔΝΤ. Το υπολειπόμενο προσό των 31,6 δισ. ευρώ θα αποπληρωθεί πρόωρα έως το 2031 - μια δεκαετία νωρίτερα από την κανονική λήξη των δόσεων το 2041
