Greece’s UN envoy, Evangelos Sekeris, announced at a press conference that the presidency will prioritize maritime security and the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. A key event, an open debate on maritime security under the theme of international peace and security, is scheduled for May 20. This high-level meeting will be chaired by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
