Greece Set to Make Space History with First Astronaut Mission to the International Space Station
The Greek government has unveiled plans to send the country's first astronaut to the International Space Station within the next two years, marking a historic milestone under the National Space Strategy 2035. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with astronaut trainee and space medicine physician Adrianos Golemis to discuss the landmark mission, which aims to strengthen Greek research, innovation and inspire a new generation of scientists.
