Greece receives Pfizer’s pills against Covid-19

Greece received Pfizer’s pills against Covid-19 on Monday, said Alternate Health Minister Mina Gaga during a live briefing.

Meanwhile, Merck’s anti-Covid-19 pills are being administered to patients with good results, she added.

In the two years since the coronavirus pandemic broke out, Greece has registered some 170,000 hospitalizations for Covid19, a sizeable figure compared to some 2,600,000 hospitalizations for other, non-Covid-19 medical issues during the same time, she highlighted.

The coronavirus pandemic is still prevalent as a major concern in Greece, as daily infections continue to register at around the 20,000 mark, she added.
