Europe stands with Greece as wildfires continue to rage in Rhodes, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said in a post on Twitter on Monday.

“Such extreme weather shows how much we must tackle climate change. Grateful to the Greek authorities for evacuating people to safety. Europe is doing its part, showing solidarity in action,” she said.
