A 5.2% increase in passenger traffic was recorded across all airports in the country in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024
Athens International Airport handled 1.2 million international arrivals during the first quarter, an increase of 68,000 or 5.9%
Passenger traffic at all Greek airports reached record heights in January-November of 2023, compared to the same time in 2022 (by 23.5%) and in 2019 (by 12.7%), the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Friday.

As he said casually on television, the primary objective will be to destroy airports in order for Greek fighter jets not to take off and land.
The biggest gains were posted by Santorini (36.2%), Hania and Corfu, with about 21% each, Mykonos (16.6%) and Rhodes (10.4%).
