Non-State Universities: Green Light for Seven Branch Campuses – Who Was Approved and Who Was Left Out
Four new applications and three resubmitted files have received licences to establish and operate university branches for the 2026–2027 academic year. Georgetown, Iowa State, Roger Williams, the European University Cyprus, Derby, Essex and Sorbonne Paris Nord are set to reshape Greece’s higher education landscape, while two applications were rejected and the next decisive stage will be the accreditation of individual degree programmes.
