Greece's labour unions are calling for mass participation in the strike and rallies for May Day on Thursday, May 1. Specifically, the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) have scheduled a rally together with the Athens Labor Center at 11:00 on Thursday at Klafthmonos Square.

Eurostat notes that official numbers likely understate the issue, as marginalized groups like the homeless, Roma, prisoners, and those in institutions or camps are often excluded from surveys.
From May 12 to October 31, the museum will host “Allspice – Michael Rakowitz and Ancient Cultures,” a collaborative show with the cultural organization NEON, featuring works by acclaimed Iraqi-American artist Michael Rakowitz.
