Kalafatis: From Brain Drain to Brain Gain — Crete Aims to Become an Innovation Hub in the Eastern Mediterranean
With the largest funding package in FORTH’s history and 20,000 sq.m. of new state-of-the-art infrastructure, Deputy Development Minister Stavros Kalafatis puts Brain Gain and the connection between research and the real economy at the heart of Greece’s new growth model. Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos points to 928 investment projects worth €1.5 billion, including 95 projects worth €270 million in Crete.
