SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance on Wednesday released a roadmap of milestones which have emerged from the party’s Central Comittee meeting held in November 11-12.
The main opposition party therefore proposes the following organizational steps:
– Launch of regional development conferences as well as thematic pre-Congress meetings on November 18
– Fresh assembly of the Central Committee on December 9-10 for the appointment of Congress positions
– Completion of regional and thematic conferences by January 12
– Final assembly of the Central Committee on January 13-14 for the approval of texts and launching a pre-Congress dialogue
– Conducting the party’s Congress on February 23-25
Regarding the recent departure of Central Committee members it was noted that these “are far from the needs and expectations of the democratic leftist, progressive world, and contrary to the prospect of a strong governing Left that will stand against the authoritarian and anti-popular Right of New Democracy.”
