According to the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, this payment request related to the fulfillment of 32 milestones and targets—29 under the grant component and three under the loan component of the plan. Greece’s UN envoy, Evangelos Sekeris, announced at a press conference that the presidency will prioritize maritime security and the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. A key event, an open debate on maritime security under the theme of international peace and security, is scheduled for May 20. This high-level meeting will be chaired by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
"Our basic priority as always is to fight high prices, and every one of our initiatives begins with this target in mind. However, there is no single measure to achieve this, but it requires a coordination and combination of measures," the minister said.
