Business platform for electricity subsidies opens May 12, Energy Min says

The platform for businesses to apply for electricity subsidies will open on May 12, Environment & Energy Stavros Papastavrou told ANT1 TV station on Sunday.

“Our basic priority as always is to fight high prices, and every one of our initiatives begins with this target in mind. However, there is no single measure to achieve this, but it requires a coordination and combination of measures,” the minister said.

Papastavrou also noted that a new presidential decree on the border delineation of communities will resolve outstanding issues of decades. One of these issues it will resolve is that it will strengthen a desire to return to regions, he said, given that those who are interested in buying properties in rural Greece may be able to do so under the decree without danger of having their property questioned as to its legality.
