Long overdue (burnt) selfie I wanted to talk about maintaining a physique while traveling/indulging/enjoying yourself. As you may know I was in Cabo this past weekend and had a VERY fun time with yummy food and drinks. I took this pic on the last day after all the damage was done haha. – I believe it is just as important to live a balanced life just as much as it is to eat well and be fit. Because ultimately if our mental health is compromised, eventually our physical health is bound to suffer. Sometimes we get so worked up and frustrated that we gained a few extra (water weight) pounds from the fun, but don’t!! A few days won’t undo your hard work but a few weeks/ months/ years will. Balance guys!
Back in my college days I did runway shows and high fashion shoots which usually require a pretty thin frame. Of course I have absolutely no judgment towards girls who do it but I will say one thing… One of the best things I have done for my health and my body was to eat properly, eat enough, gain lean muscle, and work out with a healthy mindset. 25lbs of muscle later… I couldn’t be happier. «Don’t lift weights… you’ll look manly» «Don’t get too big» We’ve heard it all. Focus on your goals and do not live your life to please others @huntobrien
2017 is going to be the year of ultimate health and undeniable gains! Time to bring it to the next level!! Motivated more than ever – On New Year’s Eve I announced the release of my Sugar Detox Guide. This past week I went through that program to detox from the holiday sugar and now that I feel healthier and less inflamed, I’m feel more motivated to crush it. Thank you to all of those that gave me awesome feedback on it by the way!! – Anyways, Excited for progress!! Let’s do it!!! And yes that’s a baseball bat. Sometimes my guns don’t cut it… yet haha
Body confidence does not come from trying to achieve the perfect physique… It comes from embracing the one you already have, regardless of the flaws and imperfections. Which we ALL have. Of course it’s awesome to have goals to become a better «you» on the outside and inside but always love yourself fully in the process. I remember when I finally let go of my insecurities and that’s when I truly started loving who I am and embracing every inch inside and out. We’ve got one body let’s treat it right! Mentally and physically Tag your lady friends to spread body positivity! Oh and happy #humpday haha can’t forget that part!
