Olympic champion Miltiadis Tentoglou won long jump gold at the World Athletics Indoor Championships Glasgow 2024 with his jump of 8.22 meters, and defended the title he won two years ago in Belgrade. Mattia Furlani won silver medal, even though he also had a performance of 8.22 meters. However, Tentoglou had a better second jump compared to the 19-year-old Italian (8.19m vs. 8.10m).
Jamaican Carey McLeod finished third with a jump of 8.21 meters.
