Both in Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as in other areas, there were events. In Syntagma Square, the scene was particularly moving, with the Evzones changing the guard in Pontic uniform. In Syntagma Square, under the slogan “If we forget, we will perish,” Pontic clubs and associations participated, with members dancing traditional dances while the loudspeakers played the Pontic lyre.
