With her official swearing-in at the U.S. State Department, the path opens for strengthening U.S.-Greek cooperation and promoting American interests in Greece.

Kimberly Guilfoyle has been officially sworn in as the United States Ambassador to Greece in a ceremony held on Monday at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. She is the first woman to ever hold this role in the Greek Republic, marking a historic milestone in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to diplomatic sources, Ambassador Guilfoyle is expected to arrive in Athens at the end of October, where she will formally assume her duties. In a statement, the U.S. Embassy in Athens said: “Today, Kimberly Guilfoyle was officially sworn in as the new U.S. Ambassador to Greece. We extend our warmest congratulations to her and look forward to further strengthening our cooperation with Greece, a NATO ally, under her leadership.”
