Greek NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has made his future with the Milwaukee Bucks clear.

Antetokounmpo has stirred up the waters a bit, after revealing for the first time the possibility of leaving the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Greek Freak gave an interview to the New York Times and sent a message to his team that “I will be loyal as long as we are a championship team,” adding that in the summer of 2024 he will be available for an early extension, which means that the discussion that will take place then will also determine his course.

Giannis Antetokounmpo: Loyalty to Milwaukee, but Championships Come First “I won’t be the best version of myself if I don’t know that everyone is on the same page, everyone is going for a championship, everyone is going to sacrifice time away from their family, like me. And if I don’t feel that, I don’t sign,” the Bucks’ Greek superstar told the New York Times.

“From 2020 to 2023, people think I’ve made a big leap on the field, but I think I’ve made ten times that leap off the field. I’ve given it my all.

“As long as we’re on the same page on this and you show me that and we go together to win a championship, I’m in.

“This is my team and will forever be my team. I don’t forget the people who were there for me and allowed me to become great. But we have to win another championship. Winning a championship comes first. I don’t want to be in the same team for 20 years and not win another championship.”
