In the wake of the bloody incident in Vorizia, the government is preparing major announcements on gun ownership and public safety. Government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis emphasized that the Prime Minister will present a comprehensive framework of measures within the coming days, which includes:

Regarding the Hellenic Post (ELTA), the government clarified that the decision to temporarily close over 200 branches was necessary to save the service.
