The total passenger traffic in Greek ports in the 1st quarter 2024 recorded an increase of 11.4 percent compared with the 1st quarter 2023. An increase of 16.7 percent was recorded at the corresponding comparison of the 1st quarter of 2023 with the 1st quarter of 2022, the Hellenic Statistical Authotity (ELSTAT) said on Thursday.
Additionally, the total movements of goods in Greek ports in the 1st quarter 2024 decreased by 0.1 percent compared with the 1st quarter 2023. An increase by 9.6 percent was recorded at the corresponding comparison of the 1st quarter of 2023 with the 1st quarter of 2022. Finally, the total traffic of mobile units in Greek ports in the 1st quarter 2024 increased by 7.6 percent compared with the 1st quarter 2023. An increase of 10.5 percent was recorded at the corresponding comparison of the 1st quarter of 2023 with the 1st quarter of 2022.
