The Venus de Milo, one of the most iconic works of ancient Greek art, has left its home at the Louvre Museum for a temporary stay at the French National Assembly. The statue is accompanied by six representations of itself in different sports and colours, all in promotion of the 2024 Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris.

The statue will be on display at the French National Assembly until September 22, 2024. During that time, it will be open to the public free of charge. Visitors will be able to see the statue up close and to learn more about its history and significance.
