Greece holds a dominant position among both US travellers and among tourism sector professionals in the USA, as was reaffirmed by the awards it received at the Recommend 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards.
Specifically, Greece was second in the category Best Overall Destination-Europe, with Italy in the first place and Spain third.
“Recommend” magazine is considered one of the most reliable professional magazines for tourism in the USA, as it targets an audience of travel consultants, who promote tourism packages within the country and to international destinations. The results of the annual awards are determined by a vote of its readers, who choose their favourite destinations, hotels and resorts, tour operators, cruise lines, rail holidays, car hire companies, airlines, travel insurance providers and more.
