To mark Pascha, the municipality has introduced evocative displays of the Crucifixion and Resurrection at the “Xenia” recreation area, creating a reverent and mystical ambiance for visitors and pilgrims.

Located in the Trikala regional unit, Meteora is renowned for its Eastern Orthodox monasteries perched atop dramatic cliffs, forming one of Greece’s most iconic spiritual and geological landmarks. Through the “Light Everywhere” (ΦΩΣ ΠΑΝΤΟΥ) initiative, the Municipality of Meteora has unveiled an upgraded illumination system that transforms the cliffs into a radiant spectacle after dark, enhancing their natural grandeur.
