Terna Energy shareholders approve 0.38-per share dividend

Shareholders also approved financial statements for 2022 and the remuneration packages of the company’s board of directors

A Terna Energy general shareholders’ meeting on Wednesday approved a 0.38-euro per share dividend for results related to fiscal 2022. The dividend will be distributed on July 3, 2023.

Shareholders also approved financial statements for 2022 and the remuneration packages of the company’s board of directors. The total outlay for dividend payments to shareholders totals 44.6 million euros.

In comments during the shareholders’ meeting, GEK Terna group chairman and CEO George Peristeris said the group’s energy subsidiary remains devoted to a 5.5-billion-euro investment plan to generate six GW in electricity from renewable energy sources by 2029, as well as other “green” business initiatives, such as garbage and waste recycling and exploiting the “cyclical economy”.
