Capital Ship Management awarded management systems certification by LRQA

Capital Ship Management Corp. recently obtained the ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity certification, the fifth management systems certification awarded to the company by LRQA. Previously awarded certifications are the ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, the ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, the ISO 45001:2018 for health and safety management system and the ISO 50001:2018 for energy management.
The latest ISO 22301 certification serves to further strengthen Capital’s already solid integrated management systems structure and demonstrates the company’s commitment for increased resilience, uninterrupted operations and increased capability to handle disruption, it stated in a press release.
During a ceremony at Capital’s headquarters in the Greek port city of Piraeus, Capt. Panagiotis Drosos, Capital’s COO, was presented with the ISO 22301:2019 certification by the director of LRQA Global Sales, Stuart Kelly.
