Giannis returns in cash to his controversial gesture towards LeBron

Often considered the successor to LeBron James in recent years, Giannis Antetokounmpo had assumed this status with a controversial celebration against the King. A celebration that he has finally just explained with…unexpected arguments!

Like all great players, he tends to shine brightly in the face of big adversity. No wonder, then, that Giannis Antetokounmpo pull out all the stops when he faces LeBron James. On December 19, 2019, he had for example compiled 34 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in 32 minutes against the King Lakers. On fire, he even allowed himself… to put on a crown following his 5th 3-point shot of the evening:

Giannis calms the game on his coronation against LeBron By daring to proclaim himself king in front of LeBron’s eyes, Giannis had inevitably caused a huge buzz on social networks at the time. For many, this gesture was akin to a real transfer of power between the Bucks star and his elder.
