Alice Cooper with his wife of 46 years, dressed in black, Rita Wilson without Tom Hanks, Desmond Child with his sons, The Rasmus, Kip Winger, Chris Willis, Andreas Carlsson, Tabitha Fair, Phoebus, Sakis Rouvas and George Lembesis were guided by the general director of the Acropolis Museum, Professor Nikos Stampolidis, to the Museum’s exhibition spaces.
The artists are in Athens as they participated in the non-profit concert “DESMOND CHILD ROCKS THE PARTHENON”, at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, in support of #ReuniteParthenon, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens.
The legendary composer and producer Desmond Child came to Greece and joined forces with famous names of the world music scene in a unique concert-tribute to Greek culture.
His great love for music and Greece gave birth to the idea of the concert, which took place on Monday night the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in order to highlight the demand for the reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures and the promotion of Greece and Greek culture worldwide.
