Very high fire danger in six of Greece’s regions forecast on Sunday

These regions are Attica, Central Greece (especially Evia, Boeotia and Skyros island), Peloponnese (Korinthia, Argolida), Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace (including Evros and Samothraki island), and North Aegean (Lesvos, Chios and Lemnos islands).

A very high fire danger (risk category 4) has been forecast for Sunday in six regions of Greece, according to the Fire Danger Forecast Map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Ministry.

These regions are Attica, Central Greece (especially Evia, Boeotia and Skyros island), Peloponnese (Korinthia, Argolida), Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace (including Evros and Samothraki island), and North Aegean (Lesvos, Chios and Lemnos islands).
