Union of Greek Shipowners: Prez has nternational meetings for the future of shipping

Union of Greek Shipowners:In the context of her contacts, Ms. Melina Travlou also met with the president of ICS

Ms. Magda Kopczynska, Director of Water Transport of the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) of the European Commission was welcomed by the President of the Union of Greek Shipowners, Ms. Melina Travlou and members of the Board of Directors at the offices of UGS. During the meeting there was an opportunity to exchange views on issues related to the European Commission’s legislative initiatives on shipping.

Also Ms. Travlou and members of the UGS met with Mr Esben Poulsson, President of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), and Mr Guy Platten, Secretary-General. During the meeting there was a wide-ranging exchange of views on current issues international shipping.

The UGS is actively involved in the processes of the ICS Board of Directors, as well as its various Committees.
