Aegean Airlines has facilitated the transportation of 1,294 passengers between Santorini and Athens on Monday, February 3, operating a total of 9 flights — 4 scheduled and 5 non-scheduled.
The flights utilised Airbus A320 aircraft, providing over 1,400 seats in total.
For today, Tuesday, February 4, Aegean is running 8 flights, with 4 scheduled and 4 additional non-scheduled services. There are still available seats on at least two of these extraordinary flights.
Over the first two days, approximately 2,500-2,700 passengers will have been flown from Santorini to Athens. The airline noted that due to the special circumstances, planes arriving in Santorini often have fewer passengers, primarily from other services, while outbound flights are operating at full capacity.
The fares for these additional flights range between €55-€65 (including VAT and airport taxes). Should further demand arise, Aegean is prepared to add more flights for Wednesday, February 5.
