Extreme risk of fire - A state of alarm (risk category 5) is forecast on Tuesday for two regions of the country, while a very high risk of fire (risk category 4) for nine regions

Extreme risk of fire – A state of alarm (risk category 5) is forecast on Tuesday for two regions of the country, while a very high risk of fire (risk category 4) for nine regions, according to the Fire Risk Prediction Map issued by the general secretariat of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection (civilprotection.gov.gr).

Specifically, an extreme risk of fire – State of alarm (risk category 5) is forecast today for the following areas:

– Crete (Rethymnon, Heraklion, Lasithi) – South Aegean (Rhodes)

Very high fire risk (risk category 4) for the following areas: – Attica – Central Greece – North Aegean (Samos, Ikaria) – South Aegean (Karpathos, Kalymnos, Kos) – Thessaly (Larissa, Magnesia) – Crete (Chania) – The Peloponnese – The Ionian Islands – Western Greece
