The temporary and gradually introduced restrictions will include a ban on stopping and parking of all vehicles including bicycles and electric personal vehicles from 05:00-06:00 on Sunday to 14:00-15:00, depending on the streets. Restrictions will affect the area of central Athens and streets around it.

Traffic restrictions will be imposed in Athens from 07:00 to 14:00 on Sunday due to the Athens Half Marathon race and related races. The Half Marathon will start at Amalias Avenue/Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (08:30-11:45), the OPAP 5 km Road Race at Filellinon/Karageorgi Servias Streets (12:00-13:35), and the Family Run/Disabled at Vassilissis Sofias Avenue/Armed Forces Officers’ Club or LAED (11:45-11:52).

The temporary and gradually introduced restrictions will include a ban on stopping and parking of all vehicles including bicycles and electric personal vehicles from 05:00-06:00 on Sunday to 14:00-15:00, depending on the streets. Restrictions will affect the area of central Athens and streets around it.

Police will be able to provide alternative routes to drivers who need to move in the area – from Saturday (14:00-22:00) to Sunday (06:00 until the end of the events) at the following telephones:  –    210-8708237 –    210-8708238 –    210-8708239
